Well, they are still relevant for traditional art, but our culture will be - and is meanwhile impacted by technoogy - and will have at least three paths

1) traditional art (without any AI involvement), I'd say: analog art (since every digital tool will implement AI soon)

2) Using some AI methods and mixing them with traditional analog art

3) using AI completely without any analogue methods - even letting AI create autonomously.

2) and 3) will predominate over 1), like Modern art of 20th century predominated over traditional art movements from times before. And for 2) and 3) artists with opt-out will be irrelevant.

But it's their choice, since 1) will still exist and will never be replaced by AI - because it's not such weak path of creativity, isn't it? :)
