Thank you for exploring semantics of this linguistic turn of late 2010ies. Indeed, this "-core" and "-wave" is en vogue, and this scene-alike diversity reminds me even on 1920ies with various new movements (including Dada, but Dada was global one, more than a scene) :)

Very interesting.

Aside, even if I like many of such "themed" movements, many of them tend to the Neokitsch (fan service for followers providing oversaturated consentration on topoi to specific "aesthetics") :)
