Revolution! Thank you - and I fully agree - NFT will reshape on-demand video platforms. It's not only about watching movies you want and paying just for them. It's about revolutionary breakthrough against the geolocation. There are too many movies from Japan, US, Australia, or even other European countries, etc, which aren't available in Germany - because of geolocation.
OnDemand services - because of licenses? - prohibit watching good movies just because you are in a country witout license. Imagine, you don't need any licenses. Imagine, via NFT the movie creators will get their financial reward - continuously. I mean, I am eager to pay if the movie is available. That's why I'm using VPN to channel into Criterion collection. That's why other people use pirating pages to get to the movies they cannot watch because of their locations.
And now - imagine the Next Step on NFT-distributed movies: you as audience can (optionally) determine percentage of the fees you pay for specific movie team member. You love the soundtrack of this movie - or the camera work? So you set 70% of the fees to these specific teams.
And every team member has his/her own wallet, where the money will come during continuouse watching of this movie by people years later. Like percentage of fees in Humble Bundle (x% foe charity, y % for game makers, z % for the platform).
This willfinally open up the entire world of culture - because people are really willing to pay, but to the desired direction.
